Came home late and wanted to have something different from my home cooked meal. Came here and ordered the seafood plate that was 20 bucks.
This satisfied me. The portions are large and the seafood pieces was more than satisfyingly sized.
The crumbling was great, spot on, not too much and not too little. It has a great balance between crunchy and juicy. Calamari rings was huge. They had lemon, which I didn't need at all, because there was no fishy aftertaste, which means the seafood was very fresh to me.
Would had posted a photo but... Hands was too oily and I was to hungry to make the shot.
This fish and chip shop is a local gem! I was happy to learn that many items on the menu are homemade rather than sourced from wholesalers, which really sets this place apart. The freshness and quality of the food are outstanding, with perfectly crispy batter and deliciously golden chips. It’s refreshing to find a local spot so dedicated to serving top-notch, thoughtfully prepared meals. If you're after a classic fish and chip experience done right, this is the place to go!
Best Fish and Chips And Veggie Burgers! Food is Always fresh you can tell they take pride in what they make the oil is clean compared to so many fish and chip shops use to rate the one in Calamvale But Fish Depot Doolandella is by far the best Good Quality
The Veggie Burger the patties are so DELICIOUS My kids rate the FIsh and chips pack a 9 Value for quality freshness and taste They go over board with welcoming customer service the whole shebang! Even the packaging Thank you so much guys for serving us for the last year and a half I’m so sad we have to move from this area But I tell ya if I’m ever in Doolandella will be sure to drop in for an order My sons Girlfriend lives in Calamvale they order from Fish Depot Doolandella on Uber eats that’s HOW DELISH THEIR FOOD IS!
We went out to grab some fish and chips, and we didn’t expect the serving to be so generous — it was definitely worth the trip! The seafood salad was also really delicious. We’ll definitely be back again!
